Job description
The IT department provides end-to-end solutions for the organization, including application development & integration, system deployment, quality assurance & testing, and overall Project Management, to help the organization build and implement the best solutions for its business needs. The IT Program Manager will help shape digital technology solutions that drive the International Rescue Committee's fundraising and engagement objectives and will be part of the Project Management team. The role focuses on IT Marketing Technology and Analytics projects, including platforms such as Salesforce CRM, Databricks (Enterprise Data Lake), Springboard, Fundraise Up, Drupal, Pardot, Mobile Commons, and Mogli., * Develop and maintain Program Plans, Roadmap, and Product Backlogs.
- Develop work breakdown structures based on the project objectives and scope.
- Lead Workstream Project Status Reporting and prepare status reports conveying scope, goals, milestones, budget, risk, and critical issues.
- Supervise Project Cost Estimation, Ongoing Budget Tracking, and Vendor Invoicing.
- Perform Project Resource Management, monitoring resource requirements and staff assignments.
- Conduct Risk Management, maintain documentation of identified risks and mitigation strategies.
- Support Stakeholder Management and work with technology and business owners to analyze expectations.
- Manage Project Business Analysis Tasks, including definition of technical and functional requirements and business process definition.
- Lead program team meetings, document meeting minutes, track issues, decisions, and action items, and drive issue closure.
- Implement program management best practices across the portfolio, including estimation, resource management, and governance.
- Act as Scrum Master, educate teams on Scrum, facilitate Agile events, and remove impediments.
- Perform other tasks and special projects as required.
Requirements

Four or more years of experience in IT systems implementation and operations project management, with preference for Marketing Technology and Analytics platforms.

Experience in Agile Project Management practices and / or program management certifications (PMP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe). Highly preferred.

Consistent track record leading multiple projects and delivering against commitments and timelines.

Demonstrated ability to develop positive partnerships with technology and business user communities and lead project teams. Key Skills and Competencies

Excellent project management skills with a strong results orientation.

Proficiency with Agile project management and experience using tools such as Jira or Monday.com.

Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects within a portfolio.

Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with ability to synthesize, visualize, and present data for decision-making.

Excellent verbal and written communication, including presenting to senior executive level.

Highly organized with excellent time management and ability to multitask.

Independent and resourceful, able to develop solutions with limited guidance.

Proficiency with productivity software (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).

Encourage and facilitate team cooperation and results orientation.

Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, managing cross-functional teams across multiple lines of business.

Preferred knowledge of fundraising / e-commerce and customer engagement programs and analytics platforms.

Familiar with SDLC processes such as Waterfall and Agile (Scrum). Preferred Experience & Skills

Experience with CRM and Marketing Technology platforms such as Salesforce, Drupal, Springboard, Pardot, and payment processing platforms.

Experience in international development, human rights, or a field related to IRC's work.

Understanding of non-profit fundraising and marketing business processes.

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and graphs.

Training or certification in Agile Methodology (e.g., Scrum Master certification) is a plus. Posted pay ranges apply to UK-based candidates and are based on the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.
