IT System Administrator

To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a reliable IT System Administrator as soon as possible to further develop our digital infrastructure and support our research with modern IT solutions. Your tasks

• Administration and maintenance of the Windows domain including AD/Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
• Ensuring security and stability through monitoring, continuous updates, and upgrades
• Implementation of integrated solutions in collaboration with the institute's departments
• Participation in and further development of IT projects and processes

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science or training as an IT specialist in system integration, or a comparable practical qualification
• Proficient with virtualization, client and server operating systems, and other MS products; knowledge of backup software and Linux operating systems is an advantage
• Independent and precise work style, with strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and service orientation
• Excellent German (native or at least B2 level) and English skills (at least B1 level), both spoken and written
• Confident use of common software
