• Impact: Your models are running productively and delivering smart, data-driven decisions for our customers., * Model development: You develop machine learning algorithms and prototypes to solve real business problems, e.g., in the areas of merchandise forecasting, sales analysis, or quality assurance.
• Production deployment: You implement your models in our software products, together with our developers and using modern cloud infrastructures.
• Data Analysis & Feature Engineering: You analyze structured & unstructured data sources (e.g., POS, ERP or IoT data) and derive insights & features for models from them.
• Monitoring & Optimization: You evaluate the performance of your models in a production environment and continuously develop them further.
• Research & Innovation: You keep up to date on new trends, algorithms & technologies in the field of data science and incorporate them into our products.
• Domain knowledge Food Service (Plus point): You develop data-driven solutions related to system and company catering, e.g. for the analysis of sales data, process times, kitchen logistics or branch comparisons.

• Education: completed studies (Master's or PhD) in mathematics, physics, statistics, computer science, data science or a comparable field
• Machine Learning: sound knowledge in the development & implementation of ML models, e.g. with scikit-learn, pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras
• Python & Co.: very good programming skills in Python as well as experience with Jupyter, SQL, Git, and API integrations.
• Cloud & Deployment: initial experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure), model deployment & monitoring of models in live operation
• Visualization & Analysis: very good knowledge of data visualization (e.g., with Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn, Plotly) & exploratory data analysis (EDA)
• Data understanding: very good sense for data structures, data quality & practical application relevance; ideally in the food service or retail environment.
• Travel: Willingness to work on-site in the office occasionally
• Soft Skills: curious, responsible team player with a hands-on mentality, analytical thinking & high initiative
• Languages: very good German (at least B2/C1) & good English (B1/B2)
