Job description

  • Manage and maintain the organisation's ERP landscape (currently SAP R/3) and connected systems.
  • Support the global harmonisation of systems, particularly in the transition from SAP ECC 6.0 (on HANA) to S/4HANA.
  • Analyse business requirements and implement forward-looking SAP infrastructure solutions aligned with IT strategy and operational needs.
  • Carry out system configuration (customising) and identify opportunities for optimisation, migration, and harmonisation within the system landscape.
  • Contribute to SAP Basis and infrastructure projects throughout all key phases, including partial project leadership and involvement in international rollouts.
  • Drive internal SAP initiatives and coordinate the activities of external service providers.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for all technical SAP Basis and infrastructure-related topics.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed vocational training or equivalent qualification in IT or a related field.
  • Over 3 years of professional experience in the IT sector.
  • Strong expertise in SAP R/3, particularly within SAP Basis and infrastructure administration.
  • Ideally, hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and a solid foundation in general IT topics.
  • Familiarity with SAP archiving processes and authorisation management.
  • Strong analytical skills, a structured working style, and excellent organisational abilities.
  • Confident in independently implementing IT requirements through system customisation.
  • A process-oriented mindset with a consultative approach to problem-solving.
  • High level of initiative and personal accountability.
  • Reliable team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
