System Engineer - VDI and Cloud

At Evotec's headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, the Global IT team is looking for two additional resources with a technical background able to support and to enhance the team in the IT environment. We are looking for people interested in growing and learning in a Research Pharmaceutical advanced sector. Communication skills, flexibility and open-mindedness are essential. Enthousiasm, passion and accountability are very appreciated.

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the operation of our existing infrastructure services, Azure, AWS, as well as onPremise

• You are responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of a terminal / VDI environment (onPremise or in the Cloud)

• You are responsible for the Support / maintenance and expansion / updating of our Citrix environments and the necessary server systems

• You drive standardization and are in charge of the global Windows Server management

• You are responsible for the operation and and maintenance of our storage Systems Qualifications:

• You have several years of professional experience in a position as Infrastructure Administrator, Terminal Services Administration or in a similar position

• You already have professional experience in the following areas: Microsoft Azure and AWS IaaS; Server infrastructure services; Windows Server; Citrix Virtual Apps, XenDesktop, Citrix; Storage Managment; Backup (Azure Backup, DPM)

• Automation supports you in solving routine tasks as well as more complex scenarios efficiently

• Good knowledge of hardware and storage

• Ideally experience in Microsoft Hyper-V Server and VMWare vSphere 7.x

• Very good knowledge of German and English Please Apply now!
