Job description

Write the micro-architecture specifications

  • Design RTL logic with particular attention to area and power efficiency.

  • Work in close collaboration with the verification team to define verification metrics and scenarios.

  • Follow up backend implementation, write timing constraints, debug and fix timing problems.

  • Support during chip characterization, validation and test development phases.

  • Participate in Technology / Supplier / Tool Selection.

  • Participate in developing methodologies.

Requirements

MSc or PhD in Electronics, Computer Engineering or similar

Experience : 5+ years of hands-on experience in digital logic design.

Required qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of VHDL or Verilog description language.

  • Knowledge of EDA tools such as Questasim/VCS/Quartus ...

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SystemC or SystemVerilog.

  • Knowledge of python language.

  • Working knowledge of Linux with experience in scripting, debugging and programming (Shell, TCL ...).

Personal skills:

Strong problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills. Flexible to dynamic environments and fast changing technologies. Passionate about technology. Working with other engineers in a team environment. Good sense of autonomy. Being pragmatic and self-motivated to complete a task even if it is outside of just the well-known realm.

Language skills: good level in English (written and oral)
