System Development Support Engineer

• Serve as the technical expert forheavy-duty diesel, hydrogen engines, and hybrid applications,supporting system owners for Engine Brake, Air Management, andTorque and Speed.
• Define and set up system-levelrequirements related to emissions andperformance.
• Develop FMEA and specify the impact ofnew content on systemrequirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolutionprocesses for field issues and deliver improvementproposals.
• Create and execute risk mitigationplans, follow up on alternative data to build off risk, and monitortest case status.
• Coordinate and monitor the timing andquality of all deliverables related to the system underdevelopment.

Functie-eisen

• Master's degree in Automotive Technologyor MechanicalEngineering.
• 5+ years of experience in engine brakingand/or air management systemdevelopment.
• Excellent technical know-how, structuredproblem-solving skills, and the ability to efficiently andpragmatically address coreissues.
• Experience leading a team of technicalexperts and managing system-level engineering tasks (presenting,planning, technology roadmap, tech lead, stakeholdermanagement).
• Six Sigma experience is preferred (FMEA,DMAIC, fishbone, boundary and P-diagram, fault treeanalysis).
• Knowledge of DNG and Plato tools is aplus.
