Job description

The Manager Reporting Transition plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless migration of centralized OF reporting as the organization transitions from SAP AFS to SAP S/4HANA. This position focuses on adapting reporting structures to new data sources, coordinating integration efforts, and maintaining reporting continuity during the transition period. The role involves combining data from both systems, validating accuracy, and recreating reports in Power BI using SQL. Acting as the primary liaison between the project team and European Order Fulfilment (EOF), this manager ensures operational excellence while driving strategic reporting transformation., * Lead the transition of centralized OF reporting from SAP AFS to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring continuity and accuracy throughout the migration.

  • Coordinate integration efforts during the transition period, combining data from both systems to deliver unified reporting.
  • Recreate and optimize reports in Power BI using SQL, aligning with new data structures and business requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the S4EU project team and European Order Fulfilment, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Develop and execute testing and validation plans to guarantee data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to reporting performance, data quality, and transition progress.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools (Power BI) to create dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to data migration and reporting processes, implementing corrective measures promptly.
  • Drive process improvements in reporting workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure effective stakeholder communication, translating technical data insights into clear, business-relevant information.
  • Actively participate in the Power BI key user community, "Power Rangers," by sharing expertise and best practices, while continuously learning from others to enhance reporting capabilities and drive knowledge exchange.
  • Identify and address potential risks to the plans implementing immediate solutions to prevent disruptions.

Requirements

  • Advanced Power BI and SQL skills for reporting and data integration.
  • Proficiency in Excel for analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP AFS/SAP S/4HANA and supply chain systems (preferred).
  • Ability to achieve objectives independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive approach., * Higher education degree or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management and operations, reporting and data integration (especially with Power BI and SQL) and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems (SAP AFS and/or SAP S/4HANA) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
