Linux Specialist

Our client, a leader in the Insurance sector, seeks a temporary Linux Specialist to join their Information Technology department. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you will be pivotal in supporting infrastructure projects critical to business operations and strategy., * Manage Linux server environments, including deployment, administration, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation.

• Maintain data security and recovery control (verification of environments) to comply with governance standards.
• Implement and monitor system health and performance, providing reports as required.
• Collaborate closely with the Information Technology team to achieve set project goals and meet timelines.
• Guide continuous improvement initiatives for systems and processes, and advise on best practices within the Linux environment.

• Proven expertise in Linux infrastructure management with a strong understanding of associated technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug environments and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with scripting languages and automation tools.
• An analytical mindset and methodical approach in handling technical tasks.
