This role will focus on the security of cloud applications and delivery pipelines, contributing to the ongoing protection of patient and healthcare data. Job OverviewYou will develop and maintain security platforms and tooling, ensuring effective controls are embedded throughout cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines. Working closely with security architects and engineering teams, you will help shape secure delivery across diverse technologies including Azure, AWS and SaaS solutions. You will support integration of security capabilities into development workflows, while actively identifying and resolving vulnerabilities within infrastructure and codebases. RESPONSIBILITIESWork with Security Architects and colleagues to deliver the security backlogCollaborate with solution architects and engineers to ensure secure technical solutionsCreate delivery plans and take ownership of key tasksAdapt delivery plans as needed to ensure the secure release of productsIdentify and remediate vulnerabilities in systems and codebasesPerform regular risk assessments, security testing and vulnerability analysisCreate clear security documentation and guidelinesRecommend improvements to security services and controlsEnsure adherence to information security policies and standardsEmbed automation within deployment pipelines using cloud technologiesSupport secure development through monitoring, guardrails and security tooling integration REQUIREMENTSDegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience3+ years experience in a similar security engineering roleExperience working with security tooling / SOC environmentsHands-on knowledge of applying Cyber Security controls in development pipelinesStrong understanding of source control and deployment automation (e.g., GitHub, ADO)Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to identify and implement security controls beyond standard development practicesWorking knowledge of secure coding and compliance standardsBasic threat modelling and dynamic security testing experienceScripting skills (Python, Bash etc.)Experience with Azure and AWS security configurationExperience with security automationKnowledge of key security technologies such as IDS, SIEM/SOAR, email gateways, WAFs and vulnerability management toolsExperience with SIEM platforms, including ELK stackSenior-level software development capability
