• Design of database code in line with functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure correct tooling in place for development, testing & monitoring purposes
• Implementing policies for security, reliability and service optimisation
• Consider DB capacity, stats, performance
• Consider DB growth and feed requirements to Eng Mgrs
• Ensure code is future proof for next version
• Ensure Unit Test coverage for code
• Database Architecture
• Produce Runbooks
• Complete Merging \ Branching for next release
• Ensure branching\merging standards are adhered to, Governance
• Peer Review BAU code according to standards
• Peer Review code for new features according to standards
• Provide Technical direction for team
• Define Technical Standards
• Input into techincal design solutions
• Maintain Documentation

Support

• Provide support on Release days
• Participate on Oncall Support rota
• Participate on Tech lead Escalatation Oncall Support Rota
• Be aligned with a scrum team and attend daily standup
• Provide Handover to BTB team if new features\processes
• Provide Handover to RTB team if new features\processes
