Mid-Level DevOps Engineer

We're seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer for a Surrey based Software Engineering Company. This full-time, remote based role will involve tasks such as automating build processes, infrastructure, and software configuration management. The new Mid-Level DevOps Engineer will develop and maintain continuous integration platforms across multiple products and support their operations. The position requires close collaboration with development and operations teams to ensure high-quality releases that meet organisational standards., We're seeking DevOps Engineering candidates who are able to carry out the following tasks;

• Design and maintain automated pipelines for software delivery and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Provide technical support, mentorship, and guidance on DevOps practices.
• Participate in incident response as part of an on-call rotation model.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to achieve goals and mitigate risks.
• Drive continuous improvement of DevOps processes and documentation.

• Experience in DevOps/SCM roles with strong CI/CD and SDLC knowledge.
• Proficient in Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Skilled in cloud platforms (Azure), including IaaS, PaaS, Docker/Kubernetes.
• Scripting abilities in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for cloud automation.
• Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and release management best practices.
• Experience managing Databricks workspaces and configurations in a CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, Azure Application Insights).
• Experience with Machine Learning/AI services. Azure AI preferred.
• Experience with Database configuration management (SQL, PostgreSQL).

This Mid-Level DevOps Engineer role will pay a starting basic salary up to £65,000 and will work on a remote basis but on occasion you will be asked to visit the Surrey office so we can only accept UK based applications. The benefits package includes Company Pension, Annual Bonus Scheme and Private Health Care.
