Job description

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of global retail transformation programmes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish and scale delivery teams across regions, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Define and implement governance, programme boards, and stakeholder engagement frameworks.
  • Drive transformation initiatives across ERP, retail systems, supply chain, finance, and HR technologies.
  • Collaborate with board-level stakeholders to shape operating models, transformation roadmaps, and capability plans.
  • Deliver repeatable international deployment models balancing global standards with local requirements.
  • Manage programme budgets (~£50M) and ensure benefit realisation across all phases.

Requirements

We're seeking a highly experienced Programme Director to lead a complex, multi-year retail transformation programme spanning multiple geographies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering large-scale business and technology solutions within grocery, FMCG, retail, and wholesale sectors , across bot cloud and on-premise infrastructuresh ., * 20+ yearsin programme delivery within retail and consumer sectors .

  • Proven expertise in Oracle Retail, Oracle Fusion, and Oracle EBS .

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud).

  • Demonstrated success managing large, cross-functional teams (200+ members).

  • Deep knowledge of business process design, change management, and stakeholder engagement .

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Preferred Skills

  • Ability to operate across complex, matrixed organisations.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
