Job description
We're looking for an experienced Data Cabling Engineer/Senior Data Comms Engineer with network cable installation experience to support our Healthcare & Education Account. This is a perfect opportunity for someone to join a closely knit team who are ready to welcome someone with new ideas and experiences. The role will primarily be based on the client's site in and around London. Experienced engineers will be responsible for carrying out surveys, data cable installs including CMS - racks & cabinets, and fire stopping. They should also be comfortable working across a construction environment. There is a potential for growth and an opportunity to earn more depending on performance after the initial 6 months., * Supervisory skills and experience (desirable)

Requirements
- A background in structured cabling
- A minimum of 2 years of field engineering experience in both Cat 5/5e/6/6a & fibre installation, terminating, and testing
- Experience in containment, racks, and cabinets
- Some experience in fire stopping ceiling and wall penetrations
- Knowledge & experience setting up and using Lantek III or Fluke DSX 5000 testers
- Be able to work as part of a team and independently
- Highly motivated
- Carrying out surveys, data cable installs including racks & cabinets, fault finding, general health & safety
- Be flexible to work nights and weekends
- Should be willing to be DBS/Security checked
