Job description
Our client is seeking a Principal Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join their dynamic, multidisciplinary Water Team. You will deliver key water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally, including flood alleviation schemes, pollution reduction initiatives, and integrated design solutions. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with experts across multiple disciplines, developing comprehensive hydraulic modelling solutions and innovative approaches to Blue-Green infrastructure., Lead hydraulic model build and verification of sewer networks. Scope, plan, and oversee integrated modelling projects including flow survey verification. Develop catchment-scale strategic solutions for flooding and pollution risks. Lead technical innovation, applying new technologies and problem-solving for clients. Prepare and review technical reports, presentations, and documentation. Mentor and support team members in their professional development. Foster positive client relationships and deliver high-quality outputs. Review hydraulic models, calculations, and technical reports to ensure compliance with specifications. What Our Client is Looking For
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering, or similar subject. Experience in Hydraulic Modelling, GIS, or Data Analysis, particularly ArcGIS or MapInfo. Knowledge of hydraulic modelling or asset management tools, such as Innovyze ICM or InfoAsset. Proven experience in water consultancy projects. Strong communication and presentation skills to convey technical findings effectively. Ability to mentor and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. What Our Client Offers
