As a Cyber Security Intern at Willhire, you will work with our security and IT teams to gain hands-on experience in protecting systems, networks, and applications from cyber threats. This internship is ideal for beginners looking to build strong foundational skills in cybersecurity practices, threat analysis, compliance, and risk management. Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MSc in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, Information Systems, or a related field.
Basic understanding of computer networking fundamentals.
Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux or Windows.
Interest in cybersecurity concepts, threat detection, and system protection.
Strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)
Basic knowledge of networking tools or platforms.
Exposure to vulnerability scanning or penetration testing tools.
Introductory experience with scripting (Python or Bash).
Awareness of cybersecurity frameworks or compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2).
Familiarity with common cyber threats and attack methodologies.
