Job description
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing, integrating, and validating complex embedded systems. Working across hardware, software, and mechanical domains, you'll contribute to projects from concept through to delivery, helping ensure our systems perform flawlessly in the most demanding environments.
Your day-to- day will include:
- Generating and managing system requirements
- Developing and executing verification procedures and tests
- Interfacing with stakeholders across Systems, Software, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering
- Supporting system integration for real-time embedded systems, including hardware/software interfaces
- Ensuring requirements-to-test traceability and unit-based testing
- Understanding internal (board-to-board, processor/peripheral) and external (unit-to-unit/network) data bus standards
- Applying logical and innovative problem-solving across software, hardware, and system levels

Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Systems Engineer, covering the full development lifecycle
- Strong requirements capture and management skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS (or similar)
- Familiarity with version control systems (SVN, Git)
- Data analysis and algorithm development experience, including MATLAB
Skills & Experience We Value:
- Experience with SysML management tools such as EA or Cameo (preferred)
- Exposure to industrial, automotive, or aerospace standards
- Hands-on experience with solid-state MEMS gyroscopes or accelerometers (desirable)
- Electrical or software design and development experience
- Ability to use an emulator for on-chip debugging
- Experience using COTS test equipment in a lab environment (oscilloscopes, bus analysers, etc.)
