Job description
As a Software Test Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping the quality strategy within your engineering pod, delivering both manual and automated testing across web applications, APIs, and cloud-hosted services.
- Build and maintain automated test suites using modern frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Design and execute functional, integration, performance, and security tests - ensuring smooth third-party integrations
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Platform Engineers, and Product teams to embed quality early in the lifecycle ("shift-left")
- Validate developer unit tests and ensure solutions align with business requirements
- Drive continuous quality improvements through CI/CD integration and strong version-control practices
- Conduct performance and load testing to assess scalability and system reliability
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to validate infrastructure and service integrations
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience in software testing, including hands-on automation
- Scripting or programming experience in JavaScript or C#
- Proven experience with modern test automation tools and frameworks
- Experience testing cloud-based systems and microservices
- Solid API testing experience (e.g., Postman or similar)
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- A passion for building high-quality software, a collaborative mindset, and the confidence to constructively challenge where needed, Software Tester/QA Javascript
