Software Developer

We are seeking a dedicated Software Developer to join our mission-driven team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support our organisational goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that positively impact our stakeholders and the communities we serve., Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Develop and maintain server-side logic and APIs using Node.js to enhance system functionality.
• Utilise Amazon Web Services (AWS) for deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Proficiency in Java and experience with the Spring Boot framework.

• Strong knowledge of Node.js and its ecosystem.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud-based application deployment.
• Familiarity with software development best practises and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
