Job description

  • Support and enhance a large-scale Linux Server estate running on a mixture of VMWare and physical servers to ensure optimal performance of matching grid computing clusters.
  • Manage end-to-end deployments, including building and configuring new face-matching clusters and capabilities.
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting to identify and resolve problems found during testing and production.
  • Perform essential maintenance, including performance tuning and patching of Red Hat Linux and Windows environments.
  • Drive the automation of infrastructure tasks to improve efficiency and system reliability.
  • Utilise monitoring techniques and ITIL best practices to manage system health and service delivery.
