Job description
Our client, a prominent organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Release Train Engineer (SC or DV cleared) on a contract basis. This role predominantly allows for remote work, though it necessitates occasional face-to-face engagements for essential agile ceremonies and meetings. The contract duration is expected to be between 12-18 months., * Facilitate PI (Program Increment) Planning events and subsequent activities.
- Manage and optimise the flow of value through the Agile Release Train (ART).
- Support the creation and maintenance of the ART calendar.
- Foster cross-team coordination and synchronisation.
- Escalate and track program-level risks, impediments, and dependencies.
- Drive continuous improvement through Inspect & Adapt (I&A) workshops.
- Facilitate the ART Sync and Scrum of Scrums meetings.
- Provide status updates and metrics to key stakeholders.
- Support release planning in collaboration with Product Management and System Architects.
Requirements
- Professional Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Master qualification.
- Agile Project Management Practitioner or Agile Coach certification.
- Extensive experience in facilitating ART events and processes within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Strong understanding of agile principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to foster collaboration across teams.
- Ability to manage program-level risks and dependencies effectively.
- Security Clearance (SC or DV) or the ability to secure DV clearance.
