Job description

You will design and build engaging, optimised web experiences that showcase the strengths of our product, Postcoder, to both new and existing customers. Working under the guidance of our Lead Web Designer, you will have a significant influence on the ongoing development of our product website, developer centre, admin area and marketing emails, covering graphic design, optimisation, web usability and interface design. You'll spend roughly 50% of your time designing and 50% building HTML and CSS.

Requirements

Do you have experience in UX?, This is a UK-based role and you must have the legal right to work in the UK., * Strong portfolio of web and interface design examples

  • High proficiency in design software and graphics editing tools (Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • High proficiency in HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and related frameworks (beneficial)
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, web accessibility and graphic design principles
  • Excellent eye for detail, brand aesthetics and consistency
  • Comfortable collaborating remotely with designers, developers and other stakeholders
  • Positive attitude, team player and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive and eager to learn
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Creative problem-solving skills

We are looking for a full-time Web Designer to join our 100% remote and 100% employee-owned team. This role would suit a mid-level designer, or someone ready to take the next step into their first mid-level position., * Salary between £28k-£35k, depending on skills and experience, with annual pay review
