SAP Security Principal Consultant

SAP Security Principal Consultant We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Principal Consultant to lead the design, implementation and ongoing governance of SAP security solutions across a complex SAP landscape. This role will play a key part in defining and delivering SAP security strategy, ensuring compliance, protecting sensitive data and supporting enterprise-wide SAP programmes. Working closely with SAP platform, security and audit stakeholders, you will act as the primary authority for SAP security across design, build, test and release phases, while providing leadership and guidance to internal teams and third-party providers. Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and build of SAP Security and SAP GRC solutions across S/4HANA and associated platformsContribute to the overall SAP security strategy aligned with enterprise security and compliance requirementsInterpret business requirements and translate them into robust SAP GRC solutions, including Access Request Management (ARM), Access Risk Analysis (ARA) and Emergency Access Management (EAM)Configure and maintain Segregation of Duty (SoD) and Sensitive Access rules within ARAEnsure ongoing compliance with Risk and Access Controls throughout SAP role design and buildSupport user provisioning, access reviews and approval workflows within ARMMaintain and support SAP Security and GRC modules in live environmentsProvide technical expertise across SAP security technologies including Centralised User Administration, SAP Identity Management (IdM), Single Sign-On and security analyticsEnsure audit readiness, support internal and external audits and maintain compliance with privacy and regulatory standardsAct as a key stakeholder interface, building strong relationships across IT, audit and the wider businessEnforce security policies through regular reviews of security reports and controlsCollaborate effectively with outsourced AMS and service providersShare SAP security best practice and mentor junior team membersStay current with evolving SAP technologies, business processes and security threats, supporting ongoing security assessments

Skills and Experience:Proven experience designing and building SAP technical and functional roles based on approved designsStrong understanding of SAP Security fundamentals, including authorisation concepts, roles, activity groups and user administrationDeep hands-on expertise across SAP GRC modules: Access Request Management (ARM), Access Risk Analysis (ARA), Emergency Access Management (EAM).Demonstrated ability to configure and manage SoD and Sensitive Access rulesExperience working with SAP Identity Management (SAP IDM)Strong knowledge of information security principles, role-based access control and distributed system administrationTrack record of delivering SAP security solutions that meet business and compliance requirementsExtensive experience across SAP security design, configuration, analysis, compliance and implementationFamiliarity with user and role administration across multiple SAP productsExperience supporting SAP ECC 6.0, S/4HANA and SAP Public Cloud environments Kind regards, All of our opportunities require that applicants are eligible to work in the specified country/location, unless otherwise stated in the job description.Whitehall Resources are an equal opportunities employer who value a diverse and inclusive working environment.
