Job description
- Coordinate technical groups for design, trade-off analysis, development, and verification of critical subsystems.
- Assess customer and mission needs to define system requirements and ensure compatibility of all interfaces.
- Develop and maintain spacecraft system architecture, ensuring consistency across all subsystems.
- Lead design coherence and verification for:
- OBDH: operational modes, redundancy, FDIR, data buses, TM/TC.
- Propulsion: chemical/electric architectures, mission integration, AOCS interfaces.
- AOCS: sensors, actuators, control algorithms, operational modes.
- Communication systems: telemetry, telecommand, RF and SDR platforms.
- Electrical Power Subsystem: applicability and coordination with responsible teams.
- Coordinate cross-discipline activities such as Ground Segment and Flight Operations interfaces.
- Perform trade-off analyses, simulations, and optimization of mass, power, cost, and performance at system level.
- Lead troubleshooting and anomaly resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation: requirements, ICDs, design reviews, and verification plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure spacecraft architecture meets mission requirements., First contact (5-10 min) : If you get a call from an unknown number, it's our team! Requirements
Do you have experience in System architecture?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering (PhD is a plus). 10+ years of experience in relevant roles within aerospace systems engineering. Strong knowledge of spacecraft systems and subsystems. Experience in technical leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with MBSE philosophy and ECSS standards. Hands-on approach to cross-functional technical issues. Fluent English (B2 minimum). Availability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid. Don't worry if you don't meet 100% of the requirements.
