Job description
As an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Platform Architect, you will help RWE use data and AI to speed up the energy transition. In this important role you will plan and coordinate a major AI program, working with different teams across the company. Your technical skills will help us drive operational excellence, increase productivity, and ensure the long-term competitiveness of RWE.
- Translate business needs into scalable AI platform capabilities.
- Drive the development of a robust, future-ready Group-wide Data & AI Platform and shape its technical roadmap together with the Enterprise Architecture Team.
- Design agentic AI solutions for complex workflows and processes, integrating agent ecosystems across diverse platforms and frameworks.
- Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation, ensuring compliance with the EU AI act.
- Effectively present complex Data & AI architectures, tailored to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements

Platform Architecture: Proven experience in designing, building, and deploying enterprise-scale Data & AI platforms, with hands-on knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps toolchains and automation.

Multi-Agent Systems: Expertise in agent orchestration frameworks, modular agent design, multi-workflow integration, and robust guardrails for LLM and agent reliability.

Proficiency in agent communication protocols and cross-platform integration.

Strong stakeholder communication, expectation management, and teamwork abilities.

Master's degree in IT or related field, excellent English skills, as well as agile and hybrid project management experience. Advantageous, but not essential

Knowledge of the energy business as well as experience with embodied AI, robotics, or industrial IoT platforms, and internal community building around AI and agent platforms.
