Network Server Engineer in London UK

We are looking for an experienced Network Server Engineer operating at the intersection of networking, infrastructure operations, security, and automation, with strong stakeholder and vendor engagement. This role supports complex, policy-driven enterprise environments.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver PoC / RFP / RFE initiatives across infrastructure platforms

Design, implement, and support enterprise network & security components: routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, DMZ

Manage IP addressing, authentication, and access control: Active Directory, LDAP, Kerberos, SSO, RBAC

Hands-on Windows and Linux server administration (macOS exposure a plus)

Build and maintain automation using PowerShell (primary), with Python / Shell as secondary

Troubleshoot complex network, server, and security issues in regulated environments

Support IoT / OT systems such as BMS, lighting, sensors, and building systems

Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (supporting role)

Engage directly with business stakeholders, security teams, and vendors

Do you have experience in macOS?, Strong enterprise networking & security background

Hands-on Windows + Linux administration

Proven PowerShell automation experience

Strong troubleshooting skills in policy-driven environments

Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders

Very strong in networking, automation
