Job description

The Assistant IT Support Technician will play a key role within the business IT team, working under the guidance of the IT Manager. This position is essential, as you will serve as the first point of contact for colleagues both remotely and on-site, providing high-quality IT support and contributing to assigned project deliverables as required. You will deliver front-line support to ensure smooth business operations., * Implement suitable fixes and workarounds to resolve issues, monitor progress, and keep customers informed

  • Update the business' Service Desk help-tickets and knowledgebase with analysis findings and results
  • Visit sites as and when required to facilitate problem resolution
  • Maintain client confidence and safeguard business operations by keeping information confidential

Requirements

  • Experience of service desk system (e.g. ServiceNow or equivalent)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and 365
  • Effective analytical, troubleshooting and problem determination skills
  • Ability to collaborate within a large team on technical projects
