Job description
As a Product Owner at Totalmobile, you are the voice of the customer inside the development team. You sit at the intersection of user needs, business goals and technical delivery, translating vision into clear, valuable and prioritised work.
Working closely with Product Managers, fellow Product Owners and a dedicated development team, you'll shape the backlog, define what "done" really means, and ensure the team is always focused on delivering the highest-value outcomes. You'll collaborate deeply with users and stakeholders, turning insight into well-crafted user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and guiding work through sprint planning, delivery, review and improvement.
This role is aligned primarily with our Mobilise mobile product, so experience with mobile applications and platform-style products will feel right at home here. While the contract is time-bound, the responsibility and influence are very real from day one.
What success looks like You build trust quickly, with developers, Product Managers and stakeholders alike. The backlog is clear, prioritised and ready. The team understands not just what they're building, but why. Dependencies are surfaced early, quality is never an afterthought, and demos tell a coherent story of progress and value.
You're comfortable making decisions, adapting to change, and continuously improving how things are done. Whether you come from a Product Owner or Business Analyst background, you bring structure, curiosity and confidence to complex problems.
Requirements
You have at least two years of experience working as a Product Owner, ideally on SaaS or platform-based products rather than one-off client builds. You're analytically minded, detail-oriented and genuinely enjoy collaborating as part of an Agile team. Tools like Jira, Confluence or Aha! are already part of your everyday working life.
Experience with mobile applications on iOS and Android is particularly valuable here, as is any background in scalable platforms, technical development or user-centred design. Agile or Scrum certification is welcome, but practical experience and credibility matter most.
