Job description
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Technology Support Engineer to join the Technology Team in our independent and successful medical communications agency. This in-house role will work closely with our external Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure smooth operations and deliver exceptional support to staff. The successful candidate will have strong Microsoft 365 expertise, act as a secondary point of contact for user support, assist in developing IT processes and documentation, and play a key role in the design and rollout of new IT products and features. A major responsibility will be developing and managing the company's intranet using SharePoint, collaborating with stakeholders across the business to create a modern, user-friendly platform.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID)
- Proven experience with SharePoint Online design and development
- Good understanding of Windows operations system and basic networking
- Experience with Power Automate or other Microsoft 365 workflow tools
- Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Excellent communication skills for working with internal users and external MSP
- Ability to create clear documentation and processes

This role is based in the UK (Manchester or Oxfordshire, or remote/hybrid) and candidates must be able to provide documentary evidence of right to work in the UK.
