A law enforcement organisation based in London is seeking a Business Change Manager to be a part of the forefront of protecting the public and safeguarding national security. As the threat landscape continues to evolve at pace, so too must our operational and organisational capability.
Within the organisation, the Change Pillar leads, assures, and enables delivery of the national counter terrorism Policing Change Portfolio. We are now seeking highly capable and motivated individuals to join us as Business Change Managers (BCMs)., As a Business Change Manager, you will play a key role in shaping, guiding, and embedding transformational change across the national CT Network. You will support programmes and projects that directly impact operational policing, ensuring that change is understood, adopted, and sustained-while minimising disruption to frontline delivery., As a Business Change Manager, you will:
Deliver Business Change Across National Programmes
- Apply the Business Change framework, tools, templates, and methodology to support successful delivery of transformation initiatives.
- Produce and maintain key change artefacts, including readiness assessments, stakeholder mapping, impact analyses, communications plans and benefits realisation plans.
- Design and deliver change interventions that minimise disruption and maximise adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role working at the intersection of change leadership, operational policing and national security.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound judgements using evidence and insight.
- The confidence to challenge constructively to support effective delivery.
- Ability to support and guide colleagues with limited Business Change experience.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to meet demanding deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Effective facilitation skills to resolve conflicting opinions and build consensus.
- Clear and confident communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- High levels of initiative, resilience and adaptability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Essential Experience
- Experience facilitating groups, resolving disputes, balancing viewpoints and driving agreements.
- Experience gathering insight from users, stakeholders or customers to improve performance/outcomes.
- Demonstrable experience planning, managing and implementing organisational or project-led change.
- Experience supporting the management of change blockers, risks and issues through to resolution.
Benefits & conditions
This is an initial 12-month contract position based in Central London (hybrid working 2 to 3 days a week onsite the rest working from home, the daily rate for this position is between £550 and £600 per day via an Umbrella company (inside IR35).
The successful candidate will need to already hold DV Clearance and once transferred they will need to undergo STRAP due to nature of the role.
