BI Engineer/Data Analyst

Data Analyst and BI Engineers are the foundation of the Data and AI profession, applying their expertise to ensure governance and management, and influencing business decisions by the stories they tell with data.

As a Data Analyst & Bi Engineer, you will be responsible to:

• Integrate, transform and consolidate data from various structured and unstructured data systems.
• Create and design data models.
• Translate functional requirements into a scalable, fit-for-use technical design.
• Own the delivery of data modelling and data pipelines.
• Implement a new operating model which supports innovation and acceleration through data & analytics.
• Contribute your data expertise to strategic projects that align with the clients goals.
• Conduct advanced data analytics and develop transaction-level reporting leveraging SQL, BI tools, and statistical methods to identify trends, anomalies, and performance metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational optimization.

• Owns a bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Business Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
• Has strong knowledge of SQL (this is a must).
• Is fluent in English as well as Dutch or French. Willingness to learn the other language will be expected in the longer term.
• Is geographically mobile: Although you must be ready to accept assignments anywhere in Belgium, most of your assignments will be Brussels based.
• Is eligible for security clearance.
