Job description

To carry out Personal Property Searches at Water Utility Offices (Monday-Friday) to confirm the location of public water and drainage pipes. This involves gathering accurate, colour-coded mapping information from digital or paper sources and reporting results within set timescales., * Access and manage Work Requests (RFIs) via the Roadie website.

  • Book and confirm appointments within 24 hours on the Roadie system.
  • Plan and manage your own diary, following utility office guidelines.
  • Complete email or online requests as required by specific Water Utility Offices.
  • Drive daily to Utility Offices to collect mapping information.
  • Accurately record water and drainage data from public registers/maps.
  • Track and return RFIs within agreed timescales.
  • Respond to queries raised by Customer Services.
  • Keep receipts for legitimate business expenses for monthly claims.
  • Be flexible to meet business demands and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Good standard of education (minimum A-Level or equivalent).
  • Experience using internet search engines and digital mapping tools.
  • Familiarity with Water Authority processes and remote working systems.
  • Confident in liaising with Local Authorities and Utility Offices.
