Job description
We are looking for a IoT Developer (m/f/x) to start as soon as possible., * Work within the Magna Seating IT/OT team to support Digitalization strategy in Seating Europe Group
- Support development and implementation of digitalization initiatives in Seating Europe divisions
- Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes
- Create IoT applications that run on-premises and in the cloud
- Support creation of technical guidelines, standards and templates for digitalization projects to be scaled across Seating Group
- Support creation of an OT architecture for Seating divisions
- Interface with Group office and support divisions to implement digitalization projects
- Receive and provide training to divisional teams related to digitalization
- Develop KPIs, metrics, and other monitoring tools to track I4.0 production environments
- Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, external services and internal resources required

Requirements
Do you have experience in Waterfall?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * a University degree or College diploma in a related technical field
- More than 3 years of work experience in similar technical position, preferably in automotive
Your preferred qualifications
- PLC programming background in Siemens controllers
- Experience with HMI / SCADA systems (Siemens)
- Understanding of multiple computer programming languages (ex: Python, JavaScript, VBA, C#)
- Experience with databases and different types of data storage
- Excellent understanding of IoT, security, communication protocols (MQTT, OPC, Profinet)
- Familiar with Ignition SCADA software is a plus
- Robot programming background (such as Fanuc, ABB or Kuka) is a plus
- Knowledge of industrial IoT sensor connectivity (IO-Link), data acquisition and data historian software
- Knowledge of different project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office Tools
- Advanced knowledge in OT systems
