Job description
Reporting to the Head of IT, you'll be responsible for leading on projects, engaging cross functionally and driving best practise in data and infrastructure. In return you'll benefit from hybrid working, generous holiday allowance, fantastic product discounts and investments in your professional training and development., * Build strong relationships across commercial channels and support functions, acting as a business partner to deliver effective IT solutions.
- Act as deputy for the Head of IT when required, ensuring seamless operation of the IT department.
- Lead cross-functional IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within agreed budgets and clear communication of progress to stakeholders.
- Take ownership of the company's infrastructure, proactively monitoring, maintaining, and optimising system performance, security, and compliance.
- Manage patch updates and configurations to keep systems and software secure and optimised.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Scripting?, * Knowledge of IT security, compliance and governance best practise.
- Skilled in scripting and automation using PowerShell, and familiar with networking and firewall concepts.
- Proficiency in Windows Server (up to 2019), Azure, and Microsoft 365, with experience in Hyper-V clusters, replication, and Veeam backup solutions.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written as you will be working with a range of colleagues and prospective employees at all levels.
- Team player, with the desire to support across all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
