Job description

  • Collaborate in the implementation and management of enterprise-grade security tools and systems, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, Secure Gateways, NDR, endpoint protection, SIEM platforms and IAM.
  • Support internal projects teams to ensure a "Secure by Design" approach, ensuring solutions and processes are securely architected across IT/OT infrastructure, be that on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, embedding cybersecurity best practices into every layer of architecture.
  • Collaborate in the development and maintenance of technical documentation, security baselines, and architectural standards aligned with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, IEC62443 and CIS Controls.
  • Support the Cyber Security Specialist on all security audits, providing evidence of controls and managing the lifecycle of any identified non-conformities.
  • Evaluate the cybersecurity posture of external vendors and partners, ensuring that third-party integrations into the IT/OT environment meet internal security requirements.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Virtualization?, * Skills and knowledge of security-centric infrastructure design and network security architecture.

  • Understanding of network components, firewall design, and secure system configuration.
  • Understanding of virtualisation technologies such as Hyper-V, WMWare and Virtualbox
  • Hands-on experience with modern cybersecurity tooling (e.g., SIEM, EDR, NDR, IAM, IDS/IPS).
  • Experience with typical server and client operating systems.
  • Understanding of security standards and frameworks (IT and OT) (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, IEC62443 SOC 2).
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in mission-critical, high-demand, or real-time environments - Manufacturing, FMCG, Finance, Energy and Defence.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work calmly and confidently under pressure, delivering results within tight timescales.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive and professional attitude.
