- CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines, enabling seamless deployment of applications using GitHub Actions
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security, to meet fintech regulatory standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, SOC 2)
- Performance Optimisation: Monitor and optimise cloud performance, leveraging tools like AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Datadog to ensure low latency and high availability.
- Cost Management: Implement cost-optimisation strategies, including reserved instances, spot instances, and auto-scaling, to maximise ROI on cloud investments.
- Disaster Recovery and High Availability: Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) strategies and high-availability architectures to ensure business continuity
- Collaboration and Mentorship: Work closely with software engineers, security teams, and junior cloud engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
