Job description

The Business Analyst will work closely with security leadership, engineering teams, project managers and third-party vendors to define business and functional requirements, map current and future-state processes, and support the successful delivery of Microsoft security capabilities across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst on large-scale IT or security transformation programmes

  • Strong experience eliciting, documenting and managing business and functional requirements within enterprise environments

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 E5 security capabilities, including:

  • Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity, etc.)

  • Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/XDR)

  • Microsoft Purview (Information Protection/Compliance)

  • Microsoft Identity/Entra (awareness level)

Experience conducting process mapping, gap analysis and impact assessments

Strong stakeholder management skills, working across business, risk, compliance and technical teams

Experience operating within Financial Services or other regulated environments

They are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support security initiatives centred around the Microsoft 365 E5 security stack, including Defender, Sentinel, Purview and Identity. This role focuses on requirements gathering, process analysis and stakeholder engagement, ensuring Microsoft security capabilities align with business, risk and regulatory requirements as part of a wider digital and cloud transformation.
