Job description
A growing UK-based organisation that acquires and integrates multiple businesses as part of its expansion strategy. They are looking to appoint a Technical Integration Specialist to sit between their M&A function and internal technology team.
This role is central to ensuring newly acquired businesses are technically assessed, planned for, and successfully integrated into the wider group environment.
You'll be involved end-to-end - from pre-acquisition technical due diligence through to hands-on system, data, and documentation migration.

As acquisition activity increases, the business needs a dedicated technical specialist to reduce risk, improve integration outcomes, and ensure migrations are delivered smoothly and securely.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting integration strategy definition, including scope, objectives, and delivery planning
- Conducting technical due diligence on potential acquisitions
- Identifying integration risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans at transaction level
- Planning and executing system, data, and documentation migrations
- Using technology to perform bulk migrations with robust validation and verification processes
- Managing third-party suppliers, contracts, and service handovers
- Reviewing post-integration outcomes and recommending improvements
Requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Proven experience with systems integration and bulk data/document migration
- Background in IT operations, technical delivery, or integration-focused roles
- Experience with IT due diligence and risk assessment
- Familiarity with common business systems and infrastructure
- Exposure to regulated or structured environments is beneficial
- Previous M&A or acquisition integration experience is advantageous but not essential
