Job description
- Support the establishment of clear data ownership and stewardship roles across departments, helping define accountability and responsibility for data assets
- Being involved in discussions to promote data usability and shareability, ensuring that data assets are accessible and valuable for cross-functional purposes
- Participate in creating and documenting data governance processes that foster consistency, security, and compliance, laying the groundwork for responsible data usage
- Assist in developing standards to make data understandable and findable, enhancing the ease of access and integration across the organisation
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Data Catalog, supporting the classification, tagging, and documentation of data assets to ensure they are searchable, understandable, and readily available to stakeholders
- Contribute to data quality initiatives, supporting the setup of systems and processes that monitor and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, * Student (d/f/m) in the fiel of IT, Data Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or any other related discipline
- High level of initiative, reliability, and strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Very good communication skills and a confident manner
- Good MS Office skills and the ability to quickly learn new IT tools
- Being available for 20 hours a week, days and times will be agreed around your studies and it will be a set time each week
- Willingness to learn and enthusiasm

The Data Governance team at RWE Renewables plays a foundational role in ensuring data is trusted across the organisation. Focused on establishing policies, standards, and frameworks, the team supports data quality, compliance, providing a structured approach to data management. With an emphasis on collaboration, Data Governance works across departments to enforce data stewardship and support data literacy. As we embark on expanding our data strategy in early 2026, there are exciting opportunities to contribute to creating a culture where data is managed and utilised with integrity and purpose.
