Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive tester with 2-3 years of experience in web application testing. In this role, you'll combine strong manual testing skills with hands-on automation using Playwright/Selenium and TypeScript. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating across teams to ensure quality at every stage of the SDLC. - Perform manual testing (regression, feature testing, etc.)
- Maintain the full lifecycle of reported defects
- Maintain and write new automated tests using TypeScript and the Playwright test framework
- Create test documentation according to the acceptance criteria
- Create release-related documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements for product releases
- Participate in discussions regarding feature development planning
- Proactively participate in Agile activities
- Engage in cross-team and cross-department communication
Requirements
Do you have experience in UI?, * 2 - 3 years of experience in software testing for web applications
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and test design techniques
- Proficient in defect reporting
- Hands-on experience with automation using Playwright or Selenium
- Skilled in executing automated test suites, reviewing results, updating locators/assertions, and writing UI tests within existing frameworks
- Comfortable with core Typescript concepts: variables, functions, conditional logic, and typing
- Knowledge of asynchronous test execution using async/await
- Ability to read, modify, and debug existing automated test code
- Capable of creating new automated test scripts in TypeScript
- Experienced with Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Familiarity with Git (optional advantage)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and release cycles
