Software Developer in Test

• Design, implement and maintain automated test frameworks for Caseware's web-based SaaS products
• Perform and guide functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
• Collaborate with development and product specialists to refine user stories, acceptance criteria and testability
• Analyze requirements and technical designs to identify risk areas and critical test scenarios
• Investigate, document and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis
• Improve test coverage, test reliability, and overall QA processes
• Mentor junior SDET team members
• Advocate for quality best practices across the engineering organization

• Medior (3-5 years) experience in QA, test automation, or SDET roles

• Proven experience testing complex web applications, preferably SaaS products

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving

• Hands-on experience in test automation using modern tools and frameworks, specifically Cypress

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies

• Ability to write clear, maintainable and well-structured test cases and code

• Comfortable working in cross-functional, international teams

• Good coordination skills, being able to drive continuous QA-awareness within the team

• Good command of Dutch and English. Nice to have:

• Experience in domains such as audit, accounting, financial reporting, or compliance software

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions) and Atlassian products such a Jira and Confluence

• ISTQB or other QA-related certifications

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern web architectures

• Experience contributing to test strategy or quality transformation initiatives
