Lead Technical Architect

• Lead a time-boxed 6-week technical investigation and PoC.
• Analyse the current Legacy integration platform (WebLogic, Java Integration, Oracle RAC) identifying relationships and dependencies.
• Evaluate migration and modernisation options and associated risks.
• Build prototypes to validate recommended approaches.
• Produce clear architectural outputs and recommendations for stakeholders.

• Proven experience as a Lead Technical Architect
• Strong background in integration architecture and platforms.
• Hands-on experience designing integration solutions in cloud environments ideally in AWS.
• Experience delivering PoCs, technical investigations, or discovery phases.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, resilience, and modernisation strategies.
• Cost & Risk analysis using trade off matrices to get justified decisions made.

My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for a Lead Technical Architect to deliver a 6-week Proof of Concept (PoC) focused on modernising a Legacy enterprise integration platform. The role will investigate and validate migration/modernisation options to move an existing Oracle WebLogic Java Integration architecture, running on Oracle RAC, to a modern AWS-hosted solution, reducing operational and security risk., Damia Group is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy and in accordance to Conduct Regulations 2003.
