Job description

  • Work with the team to locate the data & produce required reports using Power BI and other visualisation tooling.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels and understand their reporting requirements and accurately create user stories to capture their requirements.
  • Ensure requests and user stories are completed using an Agile methodology to ensure they meet the stakeholder's original requirements
  • Maintain Reporting Catalogue & Data Dictionary.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Power BI?, We are looking for a highly motivated Data Engineer who takes a proactive approach to problem-solving and thrives as a collaborative team player, contributing positively to shared goals and continuous improvement., * At least 2 years of experience in an IT function, of which 1 years' experience is desirable in reporting and data analysis.

  • Qualification to degree-level or equivalent.

  • Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Productivity Suites.

  • Competent in the use of the following tools: Azure SQL Server (including maintenance of tables, views, stored procedures, functions and Agent Jobs), Power BI, Power Automate & Cloud flows

  • Understanding of the ITIL framework and ITIL Foundation qualification.

  • Understanding of Agile methodology, structuring backlogs & rearranging depending on business needs.

  • Understanding of and ability to support data gather for the successful creation of reporting, including data sources required, intended audience, etc.

  • Proficient in advanced DAX & Power Query in Power BI desktop.
