Job description
Since 2014 we have been working on the development of innovative products based on NFC technology, consisting of hardware and software. We are part of the RENESAS family and well embedded in the Embedded Processing and Connectivity organization., * Analyze and understand in detail the Automotive customer use-cases together with product management/marketing
- Develop detailed, actionable product requirements together with product management/marketing based on customer needs (stated or anticipated)
- Create a system architecture built on a good understanding of Hardware-Software Co-design and trade-offs, fulfilling the defined requirements
- Ensure required quality and guide the team in execution of Automotive development programs
- Develop (system) integration and validation (concepts and) plans together with the (inter-disciplinary) team
- Support the product development (project managers and inter-disciplinary teams) during implementation and validation (phases) and drive product quality targets
- Be responsible for implementation of system level concepts across disciplines and over the full project life cycle
- Interface with lead customers from product definition to production ramp-up, including technically driving new requirements and critical system issues coming from customer, We have adopted a hybrid model that gives employees the ability to work remotely two days a week while ensuring that we come together as a team in the office the rest of the time. The designated in-office days are Tuesday through Thursday for innovation, collaboration and continuous learning.
Requirements
Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor/Masters/PhD Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science with industry experience of more than 10+ years
- Highly experienced in definition of system architectures for semiconductor products (SoC + Software) for Automotive products
- Highly experienced in Automotive semiconductor development flow and in-depth understanding of what is required to achieve Automotive grade quality
- Familiarity with ISO9000, AEC-Q100 and/or ISO26262 quality systems
- A highly organized and structured way of working is mandatory
- Experience in NFC/RFID and/or other wireless radio technologies is highly desirable, but not a must-have
- Experience in system integration and hardware reference designs is desirable
- Good understanding of the product development lifecycle and processes
- Good communication, documentation, abstraction and presentation skills
- Experienced in working with and leading global teams technically and having played a customer facing technical lead role.
Benefits & conditions
This position is subject to the Collective Agreement of the Electrical and Electronics Industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times a year. However, we offer a higher salary depending on your experience and qualifications.
