Job description
To support this journey, we are building a new ERP team and are seeking an experienced ERP Engineer to play a key role in delivering, operating, and continuously improving ESO's ERP platform during this transformational programme and beyond into operations.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on configuring, supporting, and optimising the ERP landscape to ensure it is secure, reliable, and fit for purpose. You will work closely within the ERP Team and with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to translate business requirements into robust system solutions and to support the organisation's transition to, and effective operation of, Oracle Fusion.
The role spans ERP configuration, data management, integrations, AI Agents, system support, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on process efficiency, data quality, and long-term platform sustainability.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Your main tasks include:
ERP Platform & Integrations:
- Design, develop, and maintain interfaces with external systems, including APIs, file import/export processes, and web services;
- Support and maintain ERP integrations to ensure reliability, performance, and data integrity;
- Work closely with ESO IT to manage and support the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring availability, security, performance, and alignment with organisational standards.
Data Management & Migration:
- Perform data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation;
- Use SQL for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and reporting support.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across ERP platforms;
- Collaborate with teams to deliver reporting, dashboards, and KPIs;
- Provide analytical insights to support operational and financial decision-making.
Governance, Risk & Compliance:
- Ensure ERP solutions meet internal control, audit, and compliance requirements;
- Maintain technical documentation for configurations, integrations, etc.;
- Maintain documentation for change management, approvals, system controls and operational procedures;
- Monitor user access, segregation of duties (SoD), and configuration changes.
Training & Support:
- Support ERP environments and participate in quarterly Oracle Fusion release cycles, including testing and deployment activities;
- Develop user training materials and system documentation;
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to end-users;
- Act as a subject matter expert for ERP-related queries and incidents.

Requirements

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience;

At least 5 years of experience in technical ERP roles;

Strong hands-on experience with:

Tier One ERP platforms (Oracle Fusion highly desirable);

System integrations (APIs, web services, file-based interfaces);

Data migration and SQL;

ERP reporting and dashboards.

Experience working on ERP implementation or transformation projects;

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills;

Energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for learning and adapting to new ERP trends and technologies;

Comfortable in a diverse, international and multicultural environment.
Qualifications:
Essential educational level
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Language skills:
The position requires a strong command of the English language. Spanish language skills would be an advantage.
