BI Developer/Analyst

We are seeking a skilled BI Developer to manage our end-to-end data lifecycle. This role is critical as we maintain our robust on-premises Microsoft BI stack while strategically transitioning our reporting capabilities to Power BI Service (Cloud).

You will be responsible for everything from Data Warehouse design and ETL development to the creation of high-impact visualizations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes using SSIS and T-SQL to integrate data from various offline sources into the Data Warehouse.
• Configure and manage On-premises Data Gateways to ensure seamless, secure data flow between local SQL Servers and Power BI Service.
• Build and optimize relational and dimensional data models (Star/Snowflake schemas) to support performant reporting and enterprise-level data integrity.
• Create interactive dashboards in Power BI, utilizing advanced DAX for complex business logic and Power Query (M) for data transformation.
• Monitor and tune long-running SQL queries and Power BI dataset refreshes to ensure high availability and rapid response times.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications, providing actionable insights through data exploration and visualization.

Do you have experience in T-SQL?, * BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

• 3+ years of experience with MS SQL Server (2016 minimum), including advanced Stored Procedures, Views, and indexing strategies.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft BI Stack (specifically SSIS and SSAS).
• Deep understanding of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including workspace management, security (RLS), and app publishing.
• Proficiency in writing complex Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and Power Query scripts.
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts, and the SDLC.
• Experience with Python for data manipulation (Pandas/NumPy) or automation tasks is a plus
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis on data discrepancies and logic gaps.
• Fluent in English with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical business users.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) and managing tasks via Jira.
