Senior App Engineer

As our Senior App Engineer, you will be the technical authority for our Quatt Home app (built with React Native and TypeScript), taking the lead on projects that are critical to our success. You'll work closely with other members of the product team, designing and implementing features across our product lineup to ensure that our users are happy and our app is scalable, maintainable, and built to last.

What you'll be doing:

• Drive the architecture and development of high-quality, scalable, and impactful mobile apps for our customers and installers using React Native.
• Lead key projects from concept to completion, acting as the technical point of contact, managing stakeholder communication, and delegating tasks to ensure successful delivery.
• Take ownership of features, translating UI/UX designs into well-crafted and intuitive mobile interfaces with a keen eye for detail.
• Partner closely with product, design, and engineering leads to shape the future of our mobile experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, participating in the full development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize for performance, scalability, and an exceptional user experience across all devices.
• Mentor and support other developers through thoughtful code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
• Proactively identify and drive improvements for our products, codebase, and internal processes, helping to establish and champion technical best practices for the team.
• Continuously explore and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and keep our applications on the cutting edge.

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the world and fight climate change.

• A proactive and energetic self-starter who takes ownership and is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrable experience in developing, testing, and deploying mobile applications to both the App Store and Google Play.
• A solid understanding of mobile application architecture, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks for mobile apps.
• Proven ability to collaborate with backend engineers to design, implement, and consume APIs for a seamless mobile experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
