Job description

We are seeking a Level 2 UI/UX Designer (Contract) to support active product development across Thrive AI. This is a hands-on execution role with ownership of defined product areas. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver clear, implementation-ready designs for AI-powered workflows., Product & UX Execution

  • Design user experiences across Thrive AI's core objects:

  • Brands, Design Books, Business Lines, Elements, and Assets

Deliver:

  • User flows
  • Wireframes
  • High-fidelity UI designs
  • Interactive Figma prototypes

Support complex workflows including onboarding, asset creation, and AI-assisted editing

Design Systems & Consistency

  • Work within the existing Thrive AI design system

  • Apply consistent patterns across:

  • Dashboards

  • Creation wizards

  • Asset grids and detail views

  • AI prompt and response panels

Contribute to reusable components and pattern refinement as needed

AI-Assisted Design

  • Design intuitive UX for AI interactions (prompting, suggestions, previews, apply/retry flows)
  • Leverage AI-enabled design tools to accelerate ideation and iteration
  • Ensure AI-generated outputs are understandable, reviewable, and editable by users

Remote Collaboration & Handoff

  • Collaborate asynchronously with Product and Engineering
  • Deliver well-structured Figma files suitable for direct engineering handoff
  • Iterate efficiently based on written feedback, reviews, and product requirements, * Engineers can build directly from your Figma files with minimal clarification
  • AI-driven experiences feel intuitive and well-integrated
  • Deliverables are completed reliably within agreed timelines
  • UX issues are proactively identified and addressed

Requirements

This role is ideal for a designer who is highly proficient in Figma, comfortable working independently, and effective in a fully remote, distributed environment., * Components, variants, auto-layout, design systems, prototyping

3-5 years of UI/UX or product design experience Experience working in contract and/or remote-first roles Strong ability to manage work independently with clear communication

Product Design Skills

  • Strong UX fundamentals (usability, hierarchy, interaction design)
  • Experience designing SaaS or workflow-driven applications
  • Ability to balance speed, clarity, and quality in a delivery-focused environment

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with AI-assisted design tools, such as:

  • Figma AI features

  • Lovable

  • Similar generative or copilot-style tools

Familiarity with AI-driven products or content creation platforms Basic understanding of frontend constraints (React, component-based UI) Comfortable working from written specs and async feedback
