British nationality with Security Check clearance in place

Experience in complex weapon systems design, including guidance, propulsion, and airframe integration

Knowledge of MOD acquisition and lifecycle management processes

Proven ability to collaborate across technical disciplines and with external stakeholders Salary and rewards Between £75000 - £85000 What you will be doing

Lead top-level design from concept to implementation for complex weapon systems

Define system requirements and manage interfaces across subsystems

Perform trade-off studies to balance performance, cost, and risk

Support verification, validation, and modelling of integrated systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, software, and test engineers
Requirements
- Graduate in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with MOD standards, policies, and procedures for weapon design
- Expertise in systems engineering, integration, verification, and test evaluation
- Experience integrating multiple subsystems
- Experience managing safety-critical systems (ideally missile systems)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
