Senior AI Engineer

We are looking for Senior AI Engineers with expertise in language technologies and Generative AI.

As part of our AI team, you will join a group of passionate professionals exploring the potential of natural language processing (NLP), Generative AI, and multimodal models to detect fake news. You will collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, MLOps specialists, and fact-checkers to design the next generation of intelligent systems capable of automated fact-checking.

Your mission will be to develop AI/NLP models and libraries to support the intelligent services and agents we are building.

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer who combines expertise in Python software development and deep learning techniques, with the ability to handle large datasets and tackle NLP problems with a strong business and customer-oriented mindset., * Proficient in Python programming with over 7 years of experience.

• Backend software engineering and MLOps expertise.
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning techniques, algorithms, and natural language processing (NLP).
• Skilled in data science libraries and frameworks such as Numpy, pandas (or accelerated alternatives, cuDF, polars), torch, scikit-learn.
• Expertise in NLP and deep learning frameworks for LLMs (Transformers library, PEFT, TRL...)
• 3+ years of experience using NLP models like BERT, GPT, and Sentence-BERT for vector search.
• Skilled in training and fine-tuning ML models (including LLMs) and creating evaluation frameworks linking metrics to business impact.
• Experienced in working with short development cycles.
• Collaborative mindset, working closely with product architecture teams to integrate research and development into products.

Bonus points:

• Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines (Langchain, Llamaindex or related) and vector databases (Qdrant, pgvector, open search or related).
• Expertise in designing and implementing with vector databases (Qdrant, ElasticSearch, FAISS, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with agentic and workflow-based frameworks, such as LangGraph, Google ADK or smolagents. MCP client-server protocol.
